APPLICATION GUIDE:

PROCEDURE

Test Patch – Prime Exposure advises to follow the directions below on a small test patch area to assess performance and compatibility.

It is important not to apply Prime Sealer Stripper in direct sunlight and in windy conditions to avoid the stripper from drying out and evaporating. It is important when using Prime Sealer Stripper to keep the area being treated wet with Prime Sealer Stripper. The stripper will only work when it is wet. It is best practice to work in small manageable areas for easy application, removal and clean up.

DIRECTIONS

  •  Apply Prime Sealer Stripper thickly (2-3mm) with a brush or roller
  •  Allow coating to soften and blister. This process can take between 10-60 minutes.
  •  DO NOT allow coating to completely dry before removing with a scraper on smooth concrete or a scrub brush or broom on textured or stamped concrete surfaces.
  •  All residue sealer and stripper must all come off the concrete and placed in a suitable container and disposed of in accordance with local and state environmental regulations.
  •  Apply and work on only small areas at a time so coating will not dry out.
  •  When old coating and stripper has been completely removed, wash the surface thoroughly with water. A high pressure clean is recommended.
  •  Ensure there are no traces of Prime Sealer Stripper on the surface before applying any further sealer

CLEAN UP

Immerse used brushes in Prime Sealer Stripper until soft and then wash up with water.

It is important to keep Prime Sealer Stripper out of sewer and storm water drains. Do NOT pour any leftover product down the drain. Contain and absorb spills in dry, inert material such as sand. Collect in sealable containers and dispose of as trade Waste in accordance with local authority guidelines.

Retain any remaining product in a marked sealed container for future use or disposal via special chemical waste collection program in accordance with local and national regulations.
